About the course

Osborne Golf Club occupies nine holes on the grounds of Osborne House, Queen Victoria's former holiday residence, where golf has been played since 1892. Originally laid out as a two-hole course by the 7th Duke of Richmond, it was expanded to its current nine-hole parkland layout in 1904 and has remained substantially unchanged since World War II, though the course has seen steady improvements over the decades.
