Osborne Golf Club occupies nine holes on the grounds of Osborne House, Queen Victoria's former holiday residence, where golf has been played since 1892. Originally laid out as a two-hole course by the 7th Duke of Richmond, it was expanded to its current nine-hole parkland layout in 1904 and has remained substantially unchanged since World War II, though the course has seen steady improvements over the decades.
