Founded in 1899 and designed by Harold Hilton, Ormskirk sits across 125 acres of mature woodland on land that was once part of Lathom House's Old Deer Park. Originally heathland, the course has evolved into a tree-lined hybrid retaining pockets of gorse and heather, playing to 6,533 yards and par 70, and now hosts prestigious county and national championships including the Carris Trophy.
