About the course

North Hants was established in 1904 as an ambitious country club project, combining a championship golf course with lawn tennis and croquet facilities. The layout has evolved through the work of several renowned designers, from James Braid's original routing through Harry Colt and Tom Simpson's substantial interventions to recent modifications by Donald Steel and Tom Mackenzie, ensuring the course remains a competitive test that has attracted major amateur championships and numbered Justin Rose among its distinguished members.
