England's most northerly golf course, Magdalene Fields was established in 1903 on the Northumbrian coast just outside Berwick-upon-Tweed and originally designed by Willie Park Jr. The parkland layout combines traditional links characteristics with panoramic views across Holy Island and towards Scotland, punctuated by memorable holes including a signature par three played over a cove and the fearsome blind-drive sixteenth, known as the Destroyer.
