Charles Hugh Alison's heathland design set in a rolling Rutland landscape, Luffenham Heath consistently ranks among England's top 100 courses and regularly hosts Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship. The course blends fescue rough with native trees and heather across naturally undulating terrain designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, offering varied topography and subtle green breaks that provide both challenge and fairness to visiting golfers.
