About the course

Formed in 1921 to a design by the legendary Harry S. Colt, Longniddry occupies 150 acres along East Lothian's coastline and blends inland and links-style holes with views over the Firth of Forth. The course has been shaped by subsequent interventions from James Braid, Philip Mackenzie Ross, and Donald Steel, giving it a layered architectural character that rewards thoughtful shot-making.
