Established in 1991, Kirkby Lonsdale is a parkland course laid out across 160 acres in the Lune Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, measuring 6,594 yards across two nine-hole anti-clockwise loops. The layout makes distinctive use of the natural terrain, incorporating water features including Barbon Beck and the River Lune, with the celebrated par 3 seventeenth playing over the beck to a raised green, and affords extensive views of the Howgill Fells throughout the round.
