About the course

Ipswich Golf Club is a long-established heathland venue set on 200 acres near Ipswich town centre, with two courses designed to take full advantage of natural terrain and mature landscape. The flagship Purdis Heath course, created by James Braid after the club's 1926 move from Rushmere Heath, remains a celebrated championship venue ranked among England's top 100 courses, while the nine-hole Bixley offers a more relaxed alternative for both members and visitors.
