Hollinwell is a heathland course laid out by Willie Park Junior and opened in 1901 on sandy soil near Kirkby in Ashfield. Ranked among the world's finest by Golf Club Atlas for its commitment to the simple virtues of the game, it has hosted major championships including the Brabazon Trophy multiple times and serves as an Open Championship Final Qualifying venue.
