High Post Golf Club, established in 1922 on the southern reaches of Salisbury Plain near Stonehenge, is a downland course designed by Hawtree and Taylor that remains playable throughout the year thanks to its free-draining chalk terrain. The 18-hole layout retains many original features including distinctive bunkers and subtle greens, and plays to a par of 70 over 6,305 yards from the white tees.
