About the course

Founded in 1885, Hesketh is Southport's oldest golf club and has hosted significant championships including The Open Regional Qualifying and the Amateur Championship. Designed by George Lowe and James Braid, the course splits between dunes and the Ribble Estuary, offering a demanding test that has produced tour professionals and counted Henry Cotton among its notable golfers.
