Established in 1895 and designed by James Braid and Dr Alister MacKenzie, Halifax Golf Club is a challenging moorland course set beneath the Pennine hills. The par-70 layout stretches 6,123 yards from the white tees and features elevation changes, streams and demanding hole designs, with the dramatic downhill 17th and MacKenzie's iconic par-3 2nd particularly memorable.
