Ganton is one of Britain's premier inland links courses, designed by Harry Colt and Dr Alister Mackenzie and welcoming golfers since 1891. The championship layout at 7,055 yards and par 71 is renowned for its extraordinary bunkering, over 100 cunningly placed traps ranging from huge to diminutive, and has hosted three major amateur championships including the 1949 Ryder Cup, making it a pilgrimage for serious players worldwide.
