About the course

Established in 1902 and redesigned by Harry Colt in the 1920s, this clifftop heathland course overlooks the Jurassic Coast and ranks among England's Top 100. The rolling terrain through gorse and heather demands precise shotmaking, with the celebrated 16th tee offering what Peter Alliss called one of golf's finest views; visitors are welcome year-round thanks to excellent drainage and an ongoing restoration programme.
