Datchet is one of the oldest golf clubs in the south of England, founded in 1890 on land beside the River Thames where members enjoy views of Windsor Castle. The nine-hole parkland course stretches to 6,087 yards and, despite its relative flatness, commands respect from players of all standards; with fifteen tees, only three holes are repeated on the back nine, and the club maintains a strong practice facility and academy tuition.
