Founded in 1902, Chorlton-cum-Hardy is a parkland course four miles from Manchester city centre where water and strategic hazards including the River Mersey and an ancient dyke feature prominently. The 18-hole layout winds through low-lying meadowland with mature trees, culminating in the majestic 13th-century Barlow Hall clubhouse, which offers dining facilities and views across the course.
