Canterbury Golf Club opened in 1927 on land originally leased from the War Office, later purchased by the club from the Ministry of Defence. This Harry Colt-designed parkland course occupies 160 acres of tree-lined terrain, featuring elevated tees, raised greens, steep climbs and sharp descents that present a considerable challenge for inland golf.
