Bury Golf Club is a moorland course designed by Alister Mackenzie and colleagues in 1920, stretching 6,063 yards across undulating terrain with distinctive two-tier greens bearing Mackenzie's hallmark. The club traces its roots to 1890 and counts among its early professionals Harry Vardon, six-time Open Champion, whose legacy is honoured through the annual Vardon Trophy and the eponymous dining room.
