Budock Vean's nine-hole course was designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid in the 1920s and sits within mature parkland overlooking the Helford River. Originally conceived as a full 18-hole layout, it became a 9-hole, 18-tee course after a land sale and is now regarded as one of Cornwall's finest nine-hole venues, available to day visitors year-round.
