England's oldest municipal golf course, Bowring opened its original 9-hole layout in 1913 before expanding to 18 holes in 1934. Set within grounds originally designed as a grand estate, the par-71 course has survived wartime closure, motorway bisection in the 1970s and subsequent relocation, now offering members rolling fairways and beautiful views across its restored layout.
