Bloxwich has occupied its Walsall site since 1924, when it opened with nine holes before expanding to the full 18-hole course we see today. The mature parkland layout was designed principally by J Coburn, a student of Tom Morris, and makes demanding use of natural hazards across its undulating terrain; in 2010 the course was reconfigured into two nine-hole loops, bringing the finishing hole right beside the clubhouse.
