Founded in 1889, Beverley & East Riding remains Yorkshire's oldest inland club, occupying the distinctive Westwood common land where grazing cattle form an integral part of the playing experience. The eighteen-hole course is celebrated for its natural layout and fast-running greens, offering commanding views across the town and countryside whilst maintaining a character shaped by centuries of shared land use and unconventional local rules.
