Ashton & Lea Golf Club originated in 1908 as Ashton Golf Club before relocating to its present site at Lea in 1912, establishing itself as an 18-hole parkland course by 1914. Set on relatively flat terrain near Preston, the par-71 layout stretches to 6,359 yards from the white tees and offers a fair challenge that rewards thoughtful play; the club now operates modern coaching facilities including a TopTracer range and short game area.
